COMPOSER & MUSIC CONDUCTOR

BIO

Music has been the rudder guiding my journey across disparate disciplines, shaping a mature and unorthodox vision that delves deeply into genres such as jazz, classical music, electronics, electroacoustics, and scoring for visual media.

That journey began when the winds of southern Spain carried me to Berklee College of Music in Boston—the ideal shipyard where the intuition of a young musician, ready to venture into any territory a musical staff could describe, was forged, revealing that film scoring was the natural home for someone like him.

The creative drive that defines me stems from a multifaceted essence: a synthesis of life experiences and knowledge, at times deeply technical and at others born of critical thought. It is an amalgam reflected in my books, Technologies in Film Scoring and Beauty According to the Machine: Musical Creation and Artificial Intelligence. This versatility enables me to move with equal authority across traditional symphonic orchestration, modern music production, hyper-realistic mockups, and research into artificial intelligence.

Today, that trajectory crystallizes into a film and media composer, member of the Andalusian Film Academy, conductor of the Filarmonía de Sevilla Orchestra, and professor at the University of Seville, leading instruction in sound theory and music within the Department of Audiovisual Communication—a creator possessing the vision and insight of experience, yet who approaches every score with the very same wonder as the seven-year-old child who dreamed of becoming a composer.
